Overview

628 E. Park

628 E. Park

This home is located just a few blocks from the city park, swimming pool/aquatic center, tennis courts, basketball courts, fitness center, all Clearwater schools, and downtown Clearwater. It was originally built in 1930 and still has some of the wood floor boards and molding in the original interior. Approximately 3000 square feet were added to the original home, including the new second entrance, the kitchen, a breezeway into the workshop, and the huge great room with skylights. Gorgeous wood floors shine throughout most of the main level, as well as brand new carpeting. Tilt-in dual-paned Pella/Anderson vinyl windows, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and over 2800 square feet of finished space, not including the square feet in the unfinished basements. The two unfinished basements feature a finished 17'x14' office space with an escape window that could be used as an additional bedroom. The great room adjoins the kitchen and serves as the formal dining room as well. The great room/kitchen area is light and bright, with the bay window, patio access, and skylights shining downing from the vaulted ceilings onto the newly refinished maple hardwood flooring (meticulously conserved from the Wellington basketball court). The custom designed kitchen serves families well with an eating bar, dishwasher, flat cook-top range and oak cabinets all viewing out to the living room, breakfast area and the back deck. Boasting two separate main entrances, the foyer is a room in itself (12'x20') and could also function as a formal living room. Designed to retire in, all utilities are conveniently located on the main floor including the 8'x14' laundry room with new laminate tile flooring, built-in shelving, and a closet. The newly remodeled bathroom features a shower, whirlpool tub, two levels of sinks, top of the line fixtures, and beautiful ceramic tile. Some of the features include a new heater and air conditioner in 2007, a tank-less hot water heater, vinyl siding, and irrigation well. The house was designed to be handicap accessible if the need should arise with wide hallways and doors.

Outside you will find landscaping featuring red bud, magnolia, pin oak, prairie fire crab, flowering pear, sycamore trees, two wooden decks and a wooden front porch. A 48'x48' cinder block fully insulated workshop/5-car garage with heater, three external doors(two 10'x10’s and one 6'x8'), and two air conditioned/heated offices. The workshop/5-car garage features various 220’s for welding or various projects, a 12'x22' bridge crane(chain hoist does not stay with the home), 30 amp duplex plugs generously spaced for convenience, 6" thick concrete flooring with a built in drainage ditch, and is set up to run compressed air from multiple locations.
