Historic 1920s dining/restaurant train car located in downtown Emporia is being sold to make room for new downtown building. The train car is a 1920s dining/passenger car that has been a local dining favorite for over 25 years.
The car is approximately 80 feet long and 9 to 10 feet wide. It has central heat and air, men's and ladies' restrooms, indoor plumbing, all electrical wiring for lights and kitchen equipment, stairs and an ADA ramp.
The train car also comes with 85 feet of railroad track and railroad ties.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a piece of history. The car could be used as a restaurant, museum, weekend getaway, residence, tourist attraction or a place to house a collection of collectibles.

Items are located at 726 Commercial in Emporia, Kansas. Questions should be directed to Cory Haag at 620.343.6633, 620.341.7613 or coryhaag@yahoo.com. Removal of train must be between Oct. 2 and 10. Inpections and pickup times are by appointment. Local crane operator will load train. $2500 earnest money required. Nonrefundable if removal is not complete by the specified time.
