John joined Purple Wave in January ’08 with 14 years of experience in the auction industry. He was previously an auctioneer for Kisner’s Auction and Appraisal Services, Hays, Kan., for more than 10 years, and also served as a contract auctioneer for firms throughout the Midwest.

John graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering, Mason City, Iowa, where he was taught by 20 nationally known instructors. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, Kansas Auctioneers Association and Hays Area Young Professionals. He was named the 2005 KAA Rookie Bid Calling Champion.

John is a 2006 graduate of Hays High School, Hays, Kan. He is currently attending North Central Kansas Technical College, Hays, Kan., pursuing an associates degree in business.
