Dave joined the Purple Wave team on October 1, 2007. He is a licensed Kansas real estate salesperson, member of the National & Kansas Auctioneers Association, and member of the National, Kansas and Manhattan Association of REALTORS®. Dave has earned the NAA awarded designation of Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate, and is a graduate of the Professional Ringmen’s Institute. He is a strong proponent of absolute public auction, and enjoys illuminating Purple Wave Realty’s method of this firm and time-defined sale of real property by competitive bid.

Dave has brought the gamut of real estate to auction: land, commercial, industrial and residential. He is a strong communicator, tireless student of selling real estate using the auction method of marketing and lives by The Golden Rule. Combined, these qualities make him an excellent choice for guidance in deciding whether your situation is suited for auction. If not, he will say; if so, he will see it through and make sure it is done well.

Especially beneficial in land sales is Dave’s academic background in agriculture and nature conservation. Beyond the academic is his passion for bow-hunting trophy white-tailed bucks; having bow-harvested a Boone & Crocket animal, he walks-the-walk and talks-the-talk in bringing sportsmen to Kansas landowners.

A Kansan from birth, Dave has lived in the Manhattan area since 1988. He is a US Army veteran, graduate of Airborne and RANGER Schools, and earned a B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State University. He and his wife have one daughter, are members of Sedalia Community Church and make their home near Tuttle Creek Lake.
