Mike Gatlin

Mike was raised in Liberal, Kansas where he owned and operated an oilfield trucking company for 14 years. He became interested in the art of bid calling and, in March 1988, attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering, Mason City, Iowa.

Mike, with the help of his wife and young son, developed and operated Gatlin Auction and Mike's BBQ Catering in the southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle for more than 17 years prior to relocating to Pueblo West with their daughter.

Mike holds a real estate license in Kansas, Oklahoma and Colorado. He served 12 years on the Kansas Auctioneers Association Board of Directors presiding as the KAA president in 2001. He currently is serving on the Colorado Auctioneers Association Board of Directors, and is a member of both state associations and the National Auctioneers Association.

Mike is an avid hunter and enjoys playing golf when leisure time presents itself.
