Join us in support of the Salvation Army and Manhattan-area victims of the June 11 "EF-4" tornado for a disaster relief auction on Saturday, June 21.

Purple Wave is hosting the event at 2708 Amherst, Manhattan, Kan., and inviting disaster victims to bring appliances, furniture, tools, household goods and landscape materials to be sold on-the-spot. The sale will also include items from affected businesses including Mead Lumber, Waters True Value, Gymnastics Plus and more.

In an effort to help rebuild our community, Purple Wave is offering this service commission free to disaster victims and is making trucks available for transporting items to the auction location. Additionally, checks will be distributed within one week of the sale.

We ask that anyone not directly affected by the disaster please reserve your items for another Purple Wave sale, so that we may focus our efforts on helping those who have been most severely affected.

Join our team on Saturday, June 21 at 1 p.m. at 2708 Amherst to bid and show your support. This is a live event. Internet bidding will not be available.
