The sale will include two tracts along the U.S. 24 corridor in Rossville each with grain facilities and a railroad lease. The property will be offered in multiple tracts, in combinations thereof and in its entirety.
The property’s structures include a 45-foot, two-story office building with a basement and multiple grain bins with a total storage capacity of 273,139 bushels.
According to www.purplewave.com, the grain elevator equipment and facilities on the west side of the property include a 79,619 bu corrugated steel grain bin, four 30,157 bu corrugated steel grain bins and a continuous flow dryer. The total capacity of the west bins in 200,247 bu. All bins are equipped with fans.
The web site also states that the grain storage bins and equipment to the east side consist of a 6,005 bu square bolted grain bin, four 1,382 bu square bolted grain bins, three 20,453 bu corrugated steel grain bins, two continuous flow driers and a 50-foot electronic truck scale. The total capacity of the east bins is 72,892 bu. All bins are equipped with fans.
Purple Wave will kick off the live auction on location in Rossville on Aug. 14. The property will be sold by Purple Wave Realty broker Aaron McKee and Ruckert.
