Believed to be one of fewer than 25 total tractors ever produced by Schafer Plow, Inc., a Pratt, Kansas company.. Believed to be one of three produced with a factory cab. Allis-Chalmers engine. Roadranger transmission. Dana-Spicer clutch. Rockwell planetary, final drives, and front brakes. Coordinated or crab steering. Crack in lower pane of the right hand door glass. Precise actual hours unknown but believed to be less than 2,000 hours; hour meter was unhooked after learning the mechanism that drove the meter had the potential to cause damage to the machine. Tractor is completely original inside and out except:. · One pair of tires were replaced. · Occasional touch-up paint. · No total repaint has been done. Twice featured on the cover of Fastline. Tractor has always been shedded in an insulated shed. Used by Mr. Harold Winkel to farm his 320 acres wheat farm in Mitchell County, Kansas.. This tractor was purchased new by Mr. Winkel from Western Tractor, Inc., in Kansas City for $19,500 after Western acquired Schafer's remaining production.
