Growing up on a farm in south Georgia really helped me relate to what I was painting. It brought back so many childhood memories of planting, weeding, picking and even helping to "put up" vegetables for the winter. Most of all it brought back happy memories of working side by side with family and friends. No matter how hot or tired we were, we felt so satisfied at the end of the day from a job well done!.
